Molasses Chocolate Chip Cookies. Mix in the molasses, vanilla and egg until fully incorporated. Drop by teaspoonful onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet or make into small balls, roll in white sugar and press down with a fork.
Scoop tablespoon size portions of dough onto prepared. Add in molasses, egg & vanilla. In separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the bowl and stir until combined, then stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter until creamy.
Add the vanilla, eggs, and molasses to the creamed butter and sugar and beat until well combined. Begin adding the flour mixture into the molasses mixture, ½ cup. You just made your own brown sugar!
