Moist Fruit Cake Recipe. Add oil and molasses, beat until combined. Add sifted flour, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, baking powder, baking soda, orange zest, and lemon zest.

No creaming, beating or soaking of fruit required! I use it for birthdays, Christmas, or just for a treat. Once the boiled fruit mixture is cooled. add lightly whisked eggs, golden syrup, lemon and orange zest.

Stir in all essences, lemon juice, and molasses and mix well.

Add eggs, beating well between each addition.

This recipe produces a really moist fruit cake it was given to me by my mom, and it's really easy. Gently fold in the sifted dry ingredients alternately with orange juice. Add sifted flour, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, baking powder, baking soda, orange zest, and lemon zest.
